About
Maison
"We started Maison because we were frustrated — beautiful furniture existed, but nothing was made to truly last."
Maison was founded in 2014 by Astrid Holm in a small workshop on the outskirts of Copenhagen. The premise was simple: make furniture the way it used to be made, with solid materials and careful hands, but designed for the way we actually live today.
A decade later, we still operate from that same workshop — now with a team of twelve craftspeople who share the same conviction. Every piece is built to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse. Each one is made for a specific home, a specific life.
Our materials come from responsible sources: FSC-certified hardwoods, vegetable-tanned leathers, natural stone. We don't chase trends. We chase permanence.
Our Principles
Material Honesty
We use solid hardwoods, natural stone, and full-grain leathers. No veneers, no filler. What you see is what the piece is made of.
Craft Over Speed
Each piece is built by a small team of dedicated craftspeople. Lead times reflect the reality of making things properly.
Designed to Repair
Every Maison piece can be disassembled and repaired. We stock replacement parts for every product, indefinitely.
Lifetime Guarantee
We stand behind our work completely. Structural defects are repaired or replaced — no questions, no time limit.
